On 15th January 2024, Mr Mike Koster decided to play off the Red markers for a change and this man shot a 60 gross! –Dit wil gedoen wees. He deserved a nice red apron to remind him. Mike has put a challenge out there for all our good golfers to equal or better his score before 31 December 2024.

We arguably had the best Champs in a long, long time. Not only was the weather perfect but having 166 players competing was very special. The feedback has been tremendous and it was so nice seeing members meeting and competing against each other.

Our Swallows organised a wonderful Golf Day with magnificent Prizes, Food, and a Gin & Beer draught mobile unit (most popular).

There were magnificent cover drives over the water, fences and bunkers. Putting on the slick greens were a true test of character.

How wonderful to have 88 players in the field on a Friday afternoon. Ek pik sommer n traantjie van lekkerte.

We have another Sundowner record. Mr. Chris Eager scored his best ever 9 holes, he shot a 34 which consisted of 4 birdies and 2 drops off a 15 handicap giving him 28 Stableford points! This record will be very difficult to beat – congrats Chris and well played.

Ladies and Gents, the Sundowner squad has arrived in all its glory and it promises to be even better than last year.

Our first game is Friday 24 November 2023.

We have some fantastic sponsors on board this year to make the day even more enjoyable.

Our Sundowner team will be on duty from 15h00 every Friday till end of March to ensure everyone gets a game and they will pair you with players if you don't have your own 4 ball. This is what makes Sundowner significant, you just pitch between 15h00 and 17h00 and you get to meet new people and experience the GEES that our Club possesses.

Mr Jacob with his red Ferrari will do the honors of looking after us on the Course.

There will be prizes for both 9 holes and of course there will be longest day and closest to pin.

Raffles will be available for everyone, lekker biltong, whisky etc.

Wouter Loots band "Reunion" will be entertaining us after prize giving.

Two Chefs will also dish up specials for food and drinks.

Cost is only R200

I can't think of any reason why you want to miss such a magnificent way to start the weekend.

Let's get at least 100 players on the Course.
